Description:A postcard view looking along New Inn Lane at Trentham towards Hanford Road Halt on the Trentham Park Branch of the North Staffordshire Railway. The branch and halt opened in March 1910 but closed only three years later on 1 May 1913 due to low usage as it could not compete with bus traffic.

This postcard was published by C.H. Deakin of Lower Hartshill Road, Stoke-on-Trent. It was postmarked in Hanford on 6 January 1914 and sent to an address in Cheadle, Staffordshire.
