Description:Hanchurch Manor was built in a Tudor style in the early 19th century to designs by Sir Charles Barry around a 17th century core. The Grade II listed building was part of the Duke of Sutherland's Estate and between 1988 and 2011 it was a boutique hotel, at which point it was redeveloped and divided into three residences. To the right is an agricultural outbuilding now (2023) known as Hanchurch Mews, a timber-framed and brick-built thatched building dating from the 17th century and also Grade II listed.

This postcard was franked in Newcastle-under-Lyme on 23 December 1911 and sent to an address at Stapeley, near Nantwich.
