Description:A postcard view which looks south along the Main Road, Wetley Rocks, towards the junction with Leek Road and Plough Bank. On the left there is a wheelwright's workshop, this later became a private house known as the Old Forge. In the distance on the junction of Leek Road, Main Road and Plough Bank stands the Old Plough Inn which was later converted into a private house known as the Plough. Most of the buildings in this scene remain (2023), although over the years many have been altered. This postcard was franked in Wetley Rocks in 1924 and sent to an address in Burton-upon-Trent.
