Description:A postcard view of Foresters and Oddfellows with banners and some in full costume, pictured posing for the photographer by the Anchor Inn before continuing along Audmore Road, towards the centre of the village.

The Anchor Inn was a public house from the 1830s to the early 1900s. In later years the building became a private house which is still known as The Anchor (July 2023).
