Description:A postcard view of the Schoolmaster's House, Gentleshaw. The house thought to be now a much enlarged private residence known as the 'School House’.

Posted on the 17th August, 1913 from Gentleshaw, Bessie writes to her father, Mr Joseph Fairley of Winstanley, near Wigan. Bessie says she enjoyed the Tennis Tournament the previous day. The teams were chosen by her Aunt and Mr Bradbury and her Aunt's team won.'.
