Description:A postcard view, believed to be of of West Lodge and Gate, originally one of the nine lodge houses to Beaudesert Park. The lodge is now a private home.

Beaudesert Hall was the mansion of the Pagets, Marquesses of Anglesey. Beaudesert was put up for sale in 1924 and when no purchaser was found it was finally demolished around 1935. Beaudesert Park comprised part of the country estate owned by generations of the Paget family between 1546 and 1935. This area of the park area was gifted in trust to the Scouting Movement by the Marquis of Anglesey and opened in 1938.
