Description:Looking south along High Street, Gnosall. The thatched building on the left has since had its timber framework and brick infill exposed. The little boy stands on the step of 34, High Street which is the Grade II listed Duke's Head public house which closed in about 1953. It is an 18th century building around an earlier core. Opposite can be seen B. Brookes' butchers shop, now (2023) Sutherland House.
