Date:8th of August 1909

Description:A procession walking from the Anchor to Gnosall Heath on Hospital Sunday during Gnosall Wakes in 1909. The procession was led by a band with the banner of Stafford District Foresters friendly society following behind. On the right is the premises of Stephen Bernard, decorator, plumber, etc. The tower of St. Lawrence's Church can be seen in the distance.

Postcard photographed and published by Harry Osbourne of Woodseaves. It was sent to an address in Marsden, Yorkshire.
