Description:A colour-tinted postcard view of Hales, looking east along the village's main road towards St. Mary's Church, the tower of which can be glimpsed above the trees. This view has not changed, and the house to the right is today (May 2023) still covered in ivy.

A 'Perfection Series' postcard postmarked in Market Drayton on 12 December 1912. It was sent to an address in Adderley, near Market Drayton.
