Description:The war memorial for Berkswich sits on a triangular piece of ground at the top of Radford Bank, just before the junction of the Lichfield and Cannock Roads. It takes the form of a tall, ornate cross on a stepped pedestal. Inscribed metal plaques, bearing the names of the local fallen in World War I, are mounted on each side of the upper portion of the pedestal.

The memorial was dedicated in 1920 to designs by Mr Evans of the Wayside Cross Society and executed by Robert Bridgeman and Sons of Lichfield. The names of those wo fell during the Second World War were added. In the early 1990s it was re-sited and rededicated.
