Description:Women by Gap Pool at the Ranton Abbey estate, then the property of Lord Lichfield. A rustic seat has been positioned on the pathway for the woman with the dog.

The majority of the Priory buildings were demolished after its dissolution and the site landscaped in the 18th century, with just the Priory's tower left standing. Gap Pool to the south-east was probably enlarged during the landscaping but may originally date to the medieval period.
