Date:1905 - 1909 (c.)

Description:Situated on Church Lane opposite the new St. Peter's Primary School the Vicarage is now a private house known as The Old Vicarage.

This postcard was written from Station House, Hixon by Maude Sabin, the wife of the Station Master, to a Manchester address and posted in Stafford in 1909. She writes of a big sale at Mrs Hughes' house next week and mentions that there are a lot of people about. This would have been at Wychdon Lodge; Mr T. Hughes J.P. of Wychdon Lodge died in September 1909.
