Description:A postcard view of the Primary School and Parochial Hall viewed from the junction of Commonside and Chapel Road, Gentleshaw. Built in 1878, it is now Gentleshaw Primary School and has recently (around 2020) had a modern but sympathetic extension to this side of the building. The Parochial Hall was demolished in 1966.

This postcard was published as part of the 'Teesee Series' and locally as one of 'Smith Series, The Stores, Gentleshaw'.
Posted in August 1939 from Rugeley, the sender speaks of the ground not being too hard and meeting people from many other countries; they were possibly camping at a Scouting event in Beaudesert Park near to this school.
