Description:The early 18th century packhorse bridge at Washgate is Grade II listed and stands on the Booth to Washgate Road on the River Dove, north west of Hollinsclough. The photographer is standing on the Staffordshire side of the river, looking over to Derbyshire. The bridge is unchanged today but the cottage no longer stands.
