Description:An interior view of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Church Lane, Abbots Bromley. The church was built around 1840 in the garden of Edward Pyatt, a carpenter, but by 1891 was in poor condition and was sold. The church and neighbouring cottages were purchased in 1915, refurbished and the church reopened in August 1915, dedicated to St. Alban. It has been known as Sacred Heart since 1925 and was thoroughly renovated in 1987.
