Date:1930 - 1940 (c.)

Description:Looking down Charles Street towards the spire of St Giles Roman Catholic Church. Today (2023) there is a mini-island at the road junction with The Avenue. The view is substantially the same today though the house left of centre has lost its Mock Tudor woodwork. The lorry coming from The Avenue on the left appears to have a load of bricks.

The reverse of the postcard states that this is a "Real Photograph' and has a number 152.
