Description:The spire of St Giles Roman Catholic Church has prominence in this aerial view of Cheadle looking approximately in a southerly direction. The Tape Works can be seen at the distant left with the moorlands beyond.

This postcard was published by William Shaw of Burslem and was posted from Cheadle to Miss Eva Stanley at the Winton Hotel, Stoke on Trent in 1905. Eva is listed as a waitress at the hotel in the 1911 census.
