Description:The Primitive Methodist Chapel at Bromstead, near Moreton, with a farmworker's cottage adjacent. An independent chapel was in existence by 1834, when the minister was Richard Brackstone. The Chapel and House appear on the Tithe map and are both stated to be owned by the Chapel's Trustees. Defined as Primitive Methodist on the 1880 Gnosall Parish Map, it was described as 'Dilapidated' on a 1910 Finance Act plan. All traces seem to have disappeared by the middle of the 20th century. The cottage, which formerly belonged to Bromstead Hill Farm, has been converted into 'Hill Top' and is no longer recognisable from its humble beginnings.
