Description:The new Council Chamber and Offices for Cheadle Rural District Council was opened on 5 March 1937 at Greenhill, Cheadle. Situated on Leek Road, it cost £12,000 and was designed by Venables and Barker of Hanley.

Around 2015 Council Chambers were sold to a developer who turned most of the property into ten residential apartments. In 2019 Cheadle Town Council was offered the refurbished Council Chambers Room on hire basis which they now use for Full Council and Extraordinary Meetings.
