Description:A postcard view of the road junction at Madeley Heath. To the left is Newcastle Road (A525) leading towards Madeley and to the right is the A531 leading towards Wrinehill. In the middle is the red sandstone war memorial. Dedicated on 27 August 1921 and unveiled by Lord Forester it records the deaths of 44 men from the First World War and 15 from the Second World War. Behind it can be seen St. Mark's Church (later the Meadows Primary School) and the former School House.
