Description:A postcard view of Madeley Railway Station on the West Coast Mainline. The station was opened by the Grand Junction Railway in 1837 and it closed to passengers in 1952 and later demolished along with the sidings, goods yard and signal box.

This postcard was published by the “Tyro” Series. It was franked in Newcastle, Staffordshire in 1903 (the day and month are unclear) and sent to an address in Burton-upon-Trent.
