Description:This set of ten almshouses were built in 1645, paid for by money left by Sir John Offley, and they stand on Station Road, Madeley near the junction with Bar Hill. The porches are Victorian and were added by the then landlord, Hungerford Crewe.

This postcard was postmarked at Newcastle-under-Lyme on 24 December 1903 and sent with Christmas greetings to an address at Shocklach in Cheshire.
