Description:A postcard view of Madeley Village taken looking north from a field by Bar Hill towards Poolside on the A525, close to the junction with The Holborn. Although it is mostly hidden by the trees, the second building from the right with the very large chimney is the Old Hall which was built around 1530 and currently (2022) it is known as the Old Hall Country House, with accommodation.
