Description:A postcard view of the Leek Branch of the Caldon Canal at Horse Bridge, Longsdon, neer Leek, taken from the bridge which carries Sutherland Road over the canal. The short branch of canal connecting Caldon to Leek was built in 1797, eighteen years after the Caldon Canal was opened in 1779.
