Description:A postcard view of the interior of St. Lawrence's Church, Coppenhall, showing the nave with pews, the chancel arch, Early English lancet windows and above is a circular window added during restoration in the early 1860s. This ancient church is largely unchanged, with the exception of the Victorian shingled bell-turret.

St. Lawrence’s Church is described by Nikolaus Pevsner as 'the perfect 13th century village church, small but of great dignity'.
