Date:1920 - 1929 (c.)

Description:The Fox is situated on the A51 at Dosthill, neat Tamworth and is described as a traditional two-roomed pub. The buildings on the left have been replaced by modern houses.

The postcard was published in Rutherford's Series, Post Office, Dosthill and franked at Tamworth in 1929. The card also has 'Teesee Series' printed on it. 'Teesee' was a sub-brand of H.H. Thompson, publishers of Coventry. Rutherford appears to have commissioned the card to be printed by Thompson Publishing.
