Description:A postcard view of St. Lawrence's Church, Coppenhall, which is described by Nikolaus Pevsner as 'the perfect 13th century village church, small but of great dignity'. This ancient church was restored in the early 1860s and is largely unchanged, with the exception of the Victorian shingled bell-turret. In 1932 an oak lych-gate was added in memory of Charles Henry and his wife Lillie Wright.
