Description:A gang of sheep shearers outside a farmhouse or mill building, somewhere near Tamworth. Men are shearing with hand-cranked shearing machines or hand shears, while boys roll the fleeces. The card is postmarked Tamworth, 26 May 1911 and the sender writes about the photograph 'I had it taken yesterday'. If you recognise the building please contact us.
