Description:Built in 1897 as the Victoria Memorial Hall on land purchased by James Eadie who also paid for its construction. It soon found a new use as the Parish Hall. In 1975, following Fazeley being designated a town, it became Fazeley Town Hall. It has since been re-roofed and as a consequence has lost its central pediment and clock tower seen in this postcard photograph.
Originating from Scotland, James came to Fazeley in 1842. moving to Burton on Trent, he became a supplier of malt for the local brewing industry and went on to be a brewer of Pale Ale. Heals contributed to the cost of Fazeley's Methodist Chapel.
The War Memorial was relocated adjacent to the Hall around 2000.
