Description:This postcard is cropped from the original Aerofolms photograph taken in 1926. Victoria Street with the Drill Hall can be seen top right. The railway station on the road bridge over the railway line can be seen below this. Green Heath Road (West Hill) follows to the left of the image.

The writer of the postcard, posted from Hednesford in 1931, says he and his friend have just had a tour of the surface workings of one of the local coal mines.
