Description:The Old School House is a Grade II listed building which stands at Ford, near Grindon. It is a stone-built house rebuilt in the early 17th century around an earlier timber cruck-framed core. A datestone 'R.O. 1605' is above door. the house was remodelled in the mid 19th century, and fully refurbished and new windows were installed in the late 20th century.
