Description:This postcard view shows several rides at Drayton Manor Park and Zoo. On the left there is the Paratower (a parachute ride) which was in service from around 1982 to 1997 and centre right there is a glimpse of the Big Wheel rising above the trees. In the background cables and a pylon used for the Aerial Car Ride can be seen and on the right there is a roller coaster. On the lake several visitors are in rowing boats and pictured in the centre is the Drayton Queen, a paddleboat, which gave rides from around 1992 to 2016.

In later years the site became known as Drayton Manor Resort, one of the largest amusement parks in the UK with over 100 rides, a 15 acre zoo and accommodation. It is situated in the grounds of the former Drayton Manor, near Tamworth.
