Description:Situated in 'Old Hednesford' near the Cross Keys Inn, this is said to be the oldest named area in Hednesford. The lane is unrecognisable today being surrounded by modern houses and only being a fraction of its original length. Boys can be seen walking towards the camera and people at the gate. The house is possibly no. 8, Flash Lane.

This postcard was published by W.Mills & Co., St. John Street and Tamworth Street, Lichfield and was posted to a Birmingham address in 1915.
