Description:Designed by A.W.N. Pugin, St. Anne's Chapel was built in 1842 and was paid for by James Beech of Elmhurst House, Stone. Until the completion of St. Dominic's Church in 1853 this was the main place of worship for Catholics in Stone. It stands with the grounds of the convent, church and Priory School of St. Dominic's just off Newcastle Road.
This postcard was photographed and published by Stone photographer Phillip Dutton, of 63 High Street, Stone.
