Description:The Three Crowns Inn stands on Lichfield Road in Little Stoke and is a former coaching inn on the London to the north-west route. The Shardlow family were licensees at the inn for 180 years. Leah Ethel Shardlow was the last member of the family to hold the licence, leaving the inn in 1934. In 1967 the building underwent alteration work, including the removal of the adjoining stable. Keer's Cottage, just seen here on the right of the inn, has been demolished and replaced by a car park.
