Description:Mr H.E. Wells' farm at Mixon Hay, Onecote. This photograph was taken at a 'Neighbour's Day' at Mixon Hay organised by Staffordshire War Agricultural Executive Committee, for neighbours and landowners to learn about new developments in grassland management. Mixon Hay was one of a number of Grassland Improvement Stations set up during World War II to increase grass productivity to help with livestock and dairy farming.
