Description:A Frith's postcard showing Anglesey Crescent with the Anglesey Hotel on the left with the Tivoli Cinema in Anglesey Street beyond. The cinema was demolished in 1964 but the hotel is now Wetherspoon's 'Hedgeford Lodge'.

The road was widened here to allow the buses to turn. After moving the Bus Station to Victoria Street in 19535-5 this bus stop was only used by the No. 8 Cannock to Rawnsley bus. A motor-cycle scooter is parked near the seated men with the dog.
