Description:A colour-tinted postcard with a decorative frame, published by Valentines in their 'Crystoleum' series. Looking from West Hill (Green Heath Road) over the 'railway' bridge towards Market Street.

The first house on the right was the home of Albert Stanley in 1901. Known as the 'Boy Preacher’, he was elected as Hednesford's first Staffordshire County Councillor in 1889. In 1907 he was elected as Labour Member of Parliament and was a Trade Unionist for the mining industry. He died in 1915.
