Description:The solitary parked car stands in front of the Anglesey Hotel (out of picture) with the Electric Palace on the left of the photograph. Rhodes’ fancy goods and toy shop stands on the corner of Anglesey Street. A man is standing on a ladder on the lamp standard on the bridge over the railway. There appears to be an AA man at the junction with his 'Box' behind him. The Market Hall was just behind the men walking away from the camera on the right.

The card was published by J Cope, Market Street, Hednesford. It was posted in 1945 but the photo is obviously much earlier.
