Description:This school on Green Heath Road, known locally as West Hill, is now (2022) West Hill Primary School. Situated on the corner of High Mount Street it was enlarged in 1888-89, as the original British School buildings, opened in January 1874, had proved inadequate. A school road sign can be seen on the left of the photograph.
