Description:A postcard view of the Darlaston Café which stood on the eastern side of the A34 Stoke-on-Trent to Stone Road, close to the Darlaston Inn. It was one of a number of road-side cafés and petrol stations on the stretch of road between Tittensor and Stone.

Opened in 1929 by Donald Campbell, it was one of a number of road-side cafés and petrol stations on the stretch of road between Tittensor and Stone. It was later known as Silver Birches Cafe and the building is now (2022) part of R M Commercials.
