Description:A postcard view of the entrance gate and tree lined driveway at Yarlet Hall.

Yarlet Hall replaced an earlier 18th century building; work on a new house was begun around 1870 by George Sidney. In 1873 The Reverend Walter Earle founded a private preparatory school at Yarlet Hall which remains open today.

This postcard view was published by P. A. Buchanan & Co, Ltd. Thornton Heath, Surrey. It was printed in Belgium.
