Description:This window display of ‘Trutex’ Schoolwear, which was in Crabbery Street, used a large banner promoting ‘Trutex’ quality and a life-size silver suit of armour (cut and shaped from silver backed thin card) to catch the eye of passing shoppers. The Display Manager was Mr Ray Fowler.

The Co-op Department Store closed on Friday 26 April 2013.
