Description:A sketch of proposed community centre for Great Bridgeford, coloured on linen, by Willis & Willis of Burslem, drawn in 1948. After 12 years of planning and fundraising , Great Bridgeford Village Hall was opened on 12 October 1957 by the Chair of Staffordshire County Council, Alderman A G B Owen. The building cost £6,000 and replaced the earlier wooden Recreation Room.
