Description:St. Michael’s war memorial stands in the churchyard of St. Michael and St. Wulfad’s Church. The granite cross was sculpted by Messrs G. Maile and Son Ltd and was unveiled by General Sir Hill Child, Bart., DSO on 5 June 1921. The service was conducted by Henry Savage, Dean of Lichfield. 41 names from the 1914-18 war were inscribed on the memorial. A further 16 were added after World War II.
