Description:Behind the war memorial cross can be seen the Shoulder of Mutton public house is on the far left, with the timber-framed Wren's Nest next to it. On the right are numbers 10 and 12 Main Street, with number 8 on the right edge. All are listed buildings. The War Memorial stands just outside St. James' Parish Churchyard and lists 32 names of men who fell during the First world War.
