Description:A Women's Naval troop march past. They are giving the eyes left to the inspection officer, all in WRENS uniforms with black wartime hats. The bandleader of the military band can just be seen on the right, and also a troop of soldiers approaching the saluting area. This parade was part of the Salute the Soldier week, which was to raise money for the war effort. In all around £336,979 was raised.
