Description:Situated at the junction of Lichfield and Alrewas Roads, and opposite the Royal Oak Inn, the memorial is now more visible after the removal of the surrounding hedges seen in this photograph. It was dedicated in 1922 and sculpted from Cornish granite and sandstone by Messrs Bridgeman & Sons of Lichfield. The memorial commemorates both world wars, and has a sword symbol on one face and a naval symbol at its base.
