Description:Hints Village Hall is attractively situated at the junction of Rookery Lane and School Lane. This photograph does not give the location full justice. The Village Hall is run by a charitable trust with a trust deed dated 1951. The hall was opened in December 1954 and was largely built by local volunteers starting only in March. The opening was attended by Julian Snow, M.P. and the Mayor of Tamworth. At the time of opening, £850 of the total £2,500 cost had still to be raised.
