Description:A Class 40 disel locomotive-hauled southbound express overtaking a LNWR origin 0-8-0 'Duck 8' locomotive at Crinoline Bend, south of Stafford Station. Crinoline is the most severe main line bend in Britain, turning through a 90 degree radius. This photograph was taken from near Queensville Bridge, with the British Reinforced Concrete sidings on the left and the GEC sidings to the right.
